You know you had a great trip when you don't care about what kind of hair-day you are having. This was Wendita & Jeffito's first trip to Maine and we loved it. We hope to re-visit soon! Maybe in winter next time to ski?

Great Head Trail-Last Day/Last Hike
June 2010. Bar Harbor, great look at the Beehive trail and what Maine is known for Lobster Fishermen.
The Trail
June 2010. Maine. I really got into these "trails". It was like rock climbing 101, good times.
Last Day-Last Hike
June 2010. Bar Harbor. On our last hike we had great weather, sunny skies, did not want to catch the plane. Always tricky jumping rocks in a creek!
The Beehive
June 2010. Ok a sunny day-thank you! Pictured here is the Beehive. Look at the left of that little mountain, that was the trail. You really had to rock climb straight up in places. Fun, exciting, would love to do it again.
Emery's Cottages On The Shore, Maine
June 2010. Bar Harbor, plenty of life in these waters. Most of the small shells still had residents :)

June 2010. Bar Harbor, Maine. Mad Hatter Pub. Owner from Holland, MI. Nice touch-"Eat Me", and the timing was perfect as Alcie In Wonderland was released that week when we were there.
Emery's Cottages On The Shore - Bar Harbor, Maine
June 2010. Our Cottage #8-In Bar Harbor. This place was great! Clean, friendly (Wally-such an awesome host!), just a few miles to the National Park. We met several guests who had been coming to the same cottages for years-I can see why.

June 2010. Acadia National Park - Beehive Trail. This was a great hike. Around every corner a new adventure. Like nothing I've hiked before. I'd love to do it again (in dry weather).
